We offer 3 programs: Recreational, Competitive and Seasonal Sessions, as well as Summer Camps!
Summer Camps!
Summer Camp students will experience dance lessons in a variety of styles such as Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap and Musical Theatre, as well as enjoying Children’s Yoga, Crafts and more! Our friendly and talented teachers will ensure every hour of the day is filled with fun and learning. Before and After Care is also available for an added fee. Camps will be offered July 8-12, July 15-19, July 22-26, August 12-16, and August 19-23. Interested in more than one week? Receive a 10% discount when you sign up for 2 weeks or more! Tuition is $285/per week plus HST. Camp Hours are 9:00am to 4:30pm with Before Care starting at 7:30am and After Care ending at 6:00pm. Recreational Program (Tiny Dance, Kinder Dance, Elementary & Teen Dance)
Classes range in length from 30 minutes to 60 minutes, depending on age. Recreational classes run from September to June.
Tiny Dance – ages 2 ½ to 3 years old
This 30-minute class is an introduction to dance for our youngest dancers. Students will enjoy this upbeat class involving creative movement, basic ballet technique, songs and games. Tiny Dancers do not take part in the year-end recital; however, parents will be invited to sit in on the last class of the year to enjoy a special in-class performance by their little dancers.
Kinder Dance – ages 4 to 6 years old
These 45-minute classes continue to introduce dancers to the joys of dance. Dancers can choose from a variety of styles including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Ballet/Jazz. Kinder Dance students take part in our year-end recital.
Elementary and Teen Dance – ages 7 years and up
While further developing the student’s technique, these 60-minute classes will also fuel their passion for dance. Classes are available in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Lyrical/Contemporary. Students in these classes also participate in our year-end recital.
Competitive
Looking for more intense training and performance opportunities? The Artistic Dance Scene Competitive Company may be the right place for you. Competitive dancers train a minimum of 7 hours per week in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. Depending on age, Hip Hop and Lyrical/Contemporary will be added to the competitive repertoire. The Competitive Company will travel to 4 competitions throughout the competitive season. If you are interested in joining our Competitive Team, please call to schedule an audition. Previous training is required.
Seasonal Sessions (ages 3-6)
For those of you with Pre-Schoolers who aren’t ready for a year-long commitment, our Seasonal Sessions may be the program you are looking for. Sessions run 10-12 weeks, depending on the season. Classes are 45 minutes in length and dancers will learn the basics of Ballet and Jazz. Each session will end with an in-class performance for parents. Please see our registration page for more information on dates and pricing. *Please note* The Session program is a different program than the Recreational program and is only for ages 3-6. These classes run on Thursdays and Saturday afternoons only.
