Registration Policies:
- Artistic Dance Scene accepts full or monthly payments in the form of cash, cheque or credit card
- Artistic Dance Scene requires 30 days notice for withdrawals
- Registration Fees and Costume Deposits are non-refundable
- If a desired class is full, dancers can be put onto a waiting list. As spots become available, dancers will be contacted in the order they were placed on the waiting list
Recital Policies:
- Costume Deposits are non-refundable
- Tiny Dance classes and Session classes do not take part in the year-end recital
- Competitive classes will be participating in all year-end shows
- Recreational classes will participate in one year-end show
- Costumes will not be released to students until the balance has been paid
- Parents will be required to purchase tickets for the recital
Recreational Dress Code:
- BALLET 6 & Under: (includes Ballet/Jazz, Tiny Dance, and Sessions) – Pink Tank Bodysuit, Pink Footed Tights, Pink Full Sole Leather Ballet Slippers, Pink Skirt (optional)
- BALLET 7 & Up: Black Sleeveless Bodysuit, Pink Tights, Pink Full or Split Sole Leather Ballet Slippers
- JAZZ: Any style/colour Bodysuit, Black Tights, Black Slip On Jazz Shoes, Dance Shorts/Pants (optional)
- TAP: Any style/colour Bodysuit, Black Tights, Dance Shorts/Pants (optional), Black Patent Tap Shoes (ages 4-6), Black Mary Jane Tap Shoes (ages 7-12), Black Capezio Lace-Up Tap Shoes (ages 13+)
- LYRICAL: Any style/colour Bodysuit, Beige Capri or Convertible Tights, Dance Shorts (optional), Dance Paws or Foot Undies
- HIP HOP: Comfortable pants and top (no jeans please!), Indoor Non-Marking Sole Running Shoes

Classroom Policies:
- Dancers are expected to follow the studio dress code. Please do not wear jewelry to class
- Dancers are expected to arrive 10-15 minutes early for class to allow time for changing, using the restroom, and catching up with friends
- Please practice respect for teachers and other students by giving your full attention to the class and showing full cooperation
- Dancers must ask for permission from the teacher to leave the classroom
Parent/Guardian Policies:
- Parents/Guardians are asked to continually check the their email inboxes and the studio website and bulletin board on a regular basis for important information throughout the season
- Parents/Guardians are expected to monitor siblings in the waiting room during classes
- Parents/Guardians are not permitted into the studios while classes are in session. Artistic Dance Scene is pleased to provide closed-circuit video so that parents may observe classes from the comfort of the waiting room. Parent Viewing weeks will also be offered during the year.
- Parent/Guardians are asked to please inform the studio if a child will be absent
